Funding Series: List of 17 Indian Startups Who Secured Funding (19-November to 25-November 2018)

Altogether there are 17 startups that could make noise in the Indian startup economy in this week. Out of these 17 startups –Billdesk, Skillbox, and MergerWare have secured an undisclosed amount from their investors.

  • Funding: Roposo has secured an amount of Rs. 120 Million in series C round of funding led by Bertelsmann India Investments.

ShoeKonnect

ShoeKonnect is a B2B commerce mobile application designed for needs of the footwear industry.

  • Founders: Siddharth Vij
  • Funding: ShoeKonnect has secured an amount of Rs. 30 Million in venture round of funding led by Info Edge.

InCred

Mumbai-based InCred a digital lending app, It uses technology and data-science to make lending quick, simple and hassle-free.

  • Founded Year: 2016
  • Founders: Bhupinder Singh
  • Funding: InCred has secured an amount of Rs 300 crore. With the help of the funds they want to diversify its lending business model from being focussed on consumers and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) across four lending verticals – Consumer finance, education, budget housing, and SMEs.

InstaReM

InstaRem is a fintech-based digital international money transfer startup. It provides fast, secure and cost-effective digital cross-border money transfer services to individuals and businesses.

  • Funding: InstaRem has secured an amount of $20 Million in series C round of funding led by Vertex Ventures, GSR Ventures, Rocket Internet, MDI Ventures and Beacon Venture Capital

Bengaluru-based Vedantu is Online tutoring startup aims to democratize teaching by creating a marketplace of Teachers.

  • Funding: Vedantu has secured an amount of $11 Million in series B round of funding led by Omidyar Network and Accel. The startup plans to expand its technology and service in tier 2 and 3 cities with the raised funds.

Magicpin

Gurugram-based Magicpin is a Local discovery, rewards, and commerce platform which uses location intelligence.

  • Funding: Magicpin has secured an amount of Rs. 1.4 Billion in series C round of funding led by Lightspeed Venture Partners.

DeTect Technologies

Chennai-based DeTect Technologies is an IoT startup that uses its drone (Noctua) and ultrasonic sensor (Gumps) to provide solutions for predicting oil and gas leakages and detect them in real time.

  • Funding: DeTect Technologies has secured an amount of $3.3 Million in series A round of funding from SAIF Partners, Bharat Innovation Fund, Axilor Ventures, BlueHill Capital Pvt Ltd. CashRich

Mumbai-based CashRich is a wealth management startup that complies with SEBI regulations and helps in secure investment transactions with multiple fund houses.

  • Funding: CashRich has secured an amount of $1 Million in a seed round of funding from a clutch of investors.   • Funding: MecchMocha has secured an amount of $3.5 Million in series B round of funding led by Accel, Shunwei Capital, Blume Ventures, Neoplux, and Akatsuki.

Bengaluru-based Signzy is digital onboarding solution provider for financial institutions.

  • Founders: Ankit Ratan, Ankur Pandey, Arpit Ratan
  • Funding: Signzy has secured an amount of Rs. 240 Million in series A round of funding led by Stellaris Venture Partners, Kalaari Capital, Rajan Anandan, Amrish Rau and Dilipkumar Khandelwal. The startup plans to expand its product portfolio, strengthen its technology stack, and expand overseas with the raised funds.

Aye Finance

Gurugram-based Aye Finance provides financial services to micro and small businesses in Northern India.

  • Funding: Aye Finance has secured an amount of Rs. 72 Million in debt financing from BlueOrchard Finance S A. This fintech startup plans to expand to newer geographies and disburse loans more actively to its existing borrower base with its raised funds.

BillDesk

Ahmedabad-based BillDesk helps consumers to leverage on the potential of the electronic medium to better organize and manage payments while escaping some of the pitfalls of traditional bill payment services.

  • Funding: BillDesk has secured an undisclosed amount in venture round of funding from VISA. With the funds raised this fintech startup plans to develop new product lines for its payments and loyalty businesses and also expand its footprint into other geographies.

Gurugram-based Skillbox is an art social network and discovery start, they work across artistic disciplines – that builds great potential for collaborations as well providing your work with an amazing marketplace.
