Funding Series: List of 14 Indian Startups Who Received Funding (28th May – 3rd June 2018)

Altogether there are 14 startups who could make noise in the Indian startup economy in this week. Out of these 14startups – Aidia Technovations and Farm Folks Agro have secured an undisclosed amount from their investors.

Aidia Technovations

Aidia Technovations is Mumbai and Pune based startup working on technology-enabled innovations. ‘AIDIA Technovations’ is destined to transform the way a human uses features-systems-technology.

  • Funding: Aidia Technovations has secured an undisclosed amount of funding from the group of investors.

Pine Labs

Noida-based Pine Labs is a provider of retail POS solutions that simplify payment acceptance while creating business opportunities for Issuers, merchants, and brands to connect with consumers. The company is specialized in the categories of Billing, Information Technology, Payments, Point of Sale

  • Founders: Rajul Garg, Tarun Upaday
  • Funding: Pine Labs has secured an amount of $125 Million in a private equity round led by PayPal, Temasek Holdi.

CoinTribe Technologies Pvt Ltd

Gurgaon- based CoinTribe operates an online lending marketplace that enables small business to get loans efficiently. It is specialized in the categories of Credit, Finance, Financial Services, Lending.

  • Founders: Amit Sachdev, Manish Chaudhari, Rohit Lohia
  • Funding: CoinTribe has secured an amount of $10 Million in a series B round of funding led by Sabre Partners along with its existing investor, Puneet Dalmia. They plan to use its funds to enhance credit underwriting algorithm develop its technology base and expand into new markets.


Bangalore-based Stellapps is IoT focused dairy-tech startup. This startup is an end-to-end dairy technology solutions company – the first of its kind in India.


Hyderabad-based CredRight is a new age digital lending company 100% focused on Micro & Small businesses.

  • Funding: This fin-tech startup has secured an amount of $1,300,000 in a seed round of funding from Accion Venture Lab and YourNest Angel Fund.


Bengaluru-based Qtrove is a curated marketplace that exhibits and sells non-mass-produced items from small entrepreneurs across the country.

  • Founded Year: 2015
  • Founders: Vinamra Pandiya
  • Funding: The startup has secured $51,570,000 form from Brand Capital and Springboard Ventures. The startup plans to use its fresh funds for next level of growth, to intensify marketing, customer acquisition, and vendor network through BCCL’s stable of print, television, radio and digital media.


Bengaluru-based ToneTag is an integrated library (SDK) that allows easy, frictionless, and secure proximity payments using sound (Tone) or NFC (Tag). The startup enables contactless digital transactions on mobile phones, card swiping machines, automated teller machines and other payment-enabling devices.

  • Founders: Kumar Abhishek, Vivek Singh
  • Funding: ToneTag gas secured an amount of $10 Million from a clutch of the marquee, strategic investors led by Amazon Inc. and Mastercard.

Toffee Insurance

Gurgaon-based Toffee Insurance is a Digital-only insurance platform. Toffee is a bite-size, micro-event, and contextual insure-tech startup which aims to de-jargonize the insurance buying experience and letting individuals focus on what matters to them the most.

  • Funding: Toffee Insurance has secured an amount of $1.5 Million in seed round funding led by Accion Venture Lab, Kalaari Capital and Omidyar Network.

Farm Folks Agro

Bengaluru-based Farm Folks Agro Pvt Ltd is an agri-tech startup with the focus on sourcing Fresh Produce directly from the farmers with no intermediaries.

  • Funding: Farm Folks Agro has secured an undisclosed amount from Menterra Social Impact Fund and Artha Venture Challenge. The startup plans to use its funds to invest in infrastructure and expand reach to cover additional products and geographies.


Delhi-based Myforexeye is a foreign exchange outsourcing service provider company.

  • Founded Year: Apr 1, 2014
  • Founders: Anand Tandon
  • Funding: Myforexeye has secured an amount of $500k in venture round of funding from InRhythm Energy Ltd. The startup plans to use the funds for technology advancement, new product line-ups and geographical expansion across the country.

Oro Wealth

Mumbai-based fin-tech startup Oro Wealth is an online wealth management platform. It lets retail investors access sophisticated advice and techniques that are available to high net worth individuals and institutions.

  • Funding: Oro wealth has secured an amount of $1.6 Million in Series A round of funding led by Powerhouse Ventures. The startup plans to use its funds for product innovation, strengthening its research capabilities besides focusing on forging alliances with partners.


Karnataka-based food processing startup, YCook is an organic, ready-to-cook processed foods startup.

Founded Year: 2010

Founders: Gayathri Swahar, Janardhan Swahar, Vijay Reddy

Funding: The startup has secured an amount of $5 Million in series B round of funding from 021 Capital and Oikocredit. The startup plans to use funds to continue expanding its reach, accelerate product growth and innovation and invest in marketing.


Mumbai-based HealWell24 is India’s emerging technology-empowered healthcare company, aiming to bring world-class quality healthcare services anywhere.

  • Founded Year: 2017
  • Founders: Harddik K Patel, J K Singha
  • Funding: This home healthcare startup has secured an amount of $200k in Angel round of funding. The startup aims to expand to Delhi, Bengaluru, Nagpur, Cochin, and Pune by 2019-2020.
